it's ending soooooooon...
it's december 27!!! omg... 2005 is ending in 4 days! YIKES! 2005... such an interesting year... so much SHIT happened in it. so much that it's unbelievable! hahaha BUT i think i've talked about all the shit in my previous entries, so i shan't bore all of you with them again hahaha
christmas eve had dinner with my dad's immediate side. all the kids came over, i.e. 2 nephews and 4 nieces. they all kept me occupied after a while. ethan wanted to play sonic, while the others just ran around, minus declan of course because he can barely walk much less run hahaha after that rushed for midnight service. fell asleep in the sermon AGAIN!!! but i guess i just didn't sleep enough the night before. i'm going to hell or something lah :(
oh yes... for the 1st time in dunno how many years, we didn't have to rush for 2 lunches on christmas day! it's both good and bad lah... goot coz can spend more time at one place, but bad because u get bored after staying at one place for too long hahaha anyway lunch at my dad's cousin's place was the same as every year lah. don't really talk much to my cousins on that side, coz they're REALLY distant, and all so much older than me hahaha
at night when to my mum's bro's place. there the cousins i can talk more too... am closer to them too, considering there are people who are in my age group! :p but i still don't always fit in with them lah, but it's getting better i guess :)
ahhh new year coming... still learning to drive, going to start work with a hell shitty pay, less time for me to do my own things, most wanted is a tiring game, but still extremely shiok hahaha final theory evaluation tomorrow... hopefully i can get through it

I LOVE THE SUN!!!
yes i'm back in singapore hahaha took my basic theory test today. we were given 50 minutes. 1 minute per mcq qn. i finished the whole thing in 10, and i PASSED! WOOHOO!!! poor ol' shufang took half an hour, but then again why would u be surprised hahaha so soon can start driving, once i apply for tt pdl. so mafan man... then after tt gotta figure out the booking system hahaha THEN gotta see whether my work which starts next year will suit my driving lesson timings, coz i don't wanna go in the evening coz the prices go up. u know... higher demand, constant supply, therefore price increases hahaha
christmas is coming! and i realise... the older i get... the less of the joyful and blissful christmas mood i feel. when i was younger, i was like "YAY CHRISTMAS CHRISTMAS!!!" now it's more like... "ok it's christmas..." quite sad right? now presents really don't seem as important anymore... and i guess i'm not REALLY feeling the real christmas spirit much more than when i was younger.
after coming back from japan, i've decided to lower my ambition from aerospace engineering to just mechanical engineering. reason being? after seeing what the trains in japan can do... I WANNA WORK WITH TRAINS!!! hahaha i mean working with planes would be cool, but then ur product is usually 10000+ feet in the air when it's doing what it's made to do best? but for trains, what you get is right here on earth! plus getting into mec engineering is easier than getting into aero engineering hahaha but the problem is... not much point working with trains in singapore only, because all singapore has is mrt and lrt trains. not much to do here lah. can't really expand and innovate with the trains here. so if i really do end up working with trains, it'll probably mean i'll be working overseas :( but see how it goes lah anyway. still gotta get through ns 1st hahaha

the home of sega (part 4)...
well today apparently today it snowed the heaviest in 10 years in parts of japan, but over here we got zero snow. i think i'm destined to not see snow ever in my lifetime or something lah hahaha last year it snowed the day after i left europe. this time it snowed in the same country, but just not the part that i am in! damn sian hahaha today weather not as cold and not as windy, so i felt much better than yesterday.
today went to one of the last remaining feudal castles remaining in japan. well one thing... DAMN BIG AND DAMN COOL!!! hahaha it's really a castle castle lah. got outer walls, inner walls, keeps and main towers. there were damn cool holes in the walls as well to shoot arrows out of at the enemy at that time. usually u'd expect only square holes right? but the holes are aesthetic as well! they come in circles, triangle and rectangles! hahaha the castle is really majectic man... everything i imagined a castle would have in order to fight a war in the olden days. will go back and do some research on the internet about that, should be quite interesting.
after that we came back to osaka, and bought CHOCOLATES!!! can go back and eat eat eat. then we went to this skytower... and we got a panoramic view of osaka. it's REALLY dense... and the train network looks even more impressive from up there!!! so cheem... but the cheemer it is the better planned it is. so cool! and the bullet train looks so much more impressive in real life than on the tv screen man. one "flew" past the train we were on today. i mean it flew by in an instant lah. want to sit one someday. see how smooth it really is.
ok tmr we're staying in osaka to avoid the snow tt's falling heavily everywhere else. so tmr is most probably just shopping day. ciao for now :) back to singapore soon! :)

the home of the bullet train (part 3)...
today was... COLD! lowest was supposed to be 0, but i never managed to find out what it actually was. in the morning saw snow on top of the train, but never actually got to see any snow falling from the sky. what a shame. 2nd time in a freezing cold place and i see zero snow. what's the point in that sia hahaha actually today wasn't really THAT cold. temperature wise it was colder than yesterday yes, but it was still tahan-able. but what really killed me was the damn WIND! wah wind blow until u really feel like there's this huge force pushing u backwards or forwards. the wind from behind not so bad, at least everything is covered up, but from the front can DIE! face so damn cold... haiz cannot explain. must experience to believe lah
anyway today we went to this small town called nara. see more temples and shrines. lost track of the names already lah, too cheem for me to remember :p anyway on the way in we saw deer... lots and lots of deer. and we also saw a deer crossing the road at a zebra crossing!!! get it? a DEER using a ZEBRA crosing!!! hur hur hur... ok nvm. then we saw some sumos getting ready to have matches. with all the rituals and stuff. but because we were rushing for time we didn't watch any matches. tt would've been an interesting thing to see man. anyway in one temple we saw this bronze buddha statue tt's the largest in the whole world. and it's HUGE!!! the whole thing dates back till the 700s. more than a millenium ago man. madness. then more temples and shrines, and more temples and shrines hahaha tomorrow we're going to see a castle. FINALLY! hahaha
anyway... another observation about japan. the public toilets are CLEAN! and by clean i mean much cleaner than singapore public toilets. even though people use them alot, it's still relatively dry lah. ok it's not as clean as cj toilets, but it's damn good for public toilets! people actually are more considerate over here lah. another thing is, all the public toilets i've been to have heated seats! even the one in the hotel has a heated seat hahaha u know when u sit down and the seat is freezing cold, and ur poor ass has to endure moments of discomfort, THAT THING RELIEVES ALL THAT!!! hahaha so u have clean public toilets and heated toilet seats. damn it man that's so good hahaha
ok lah gotta get more energy if i wanna walk around that huge castle tomorrow. apparently we can spend the whole day there. bloody hell i'm gg to freeze again. just pray it isn't as windy there as it was in nara today. i miss singapore and the heat hahaha

the home of pokemon (part 2)...
today was cold man... ok it wasn't really cold, it was more of windy that kinda made me feel not that fantastic hahaha anyway today we just walked around all day long, went to see more temples and some funny shrines. early afternoon wasn't that bad lah, but it got really windy after a while, and there's nothing that can cover my nose and mouth, so that kinda sucked. if it were warmer i would've been able to walk around for a long time, but coz it was just too cold, i couldn't walk anymore. i mean my right knee began to hurt lah... how bad is that man. and tomorrow's supposed to be colder hahaha how grand...
anyway something i've observed over the past 2 days. the jap people are a lot more connected as a society. i mean they bother to look out for each other and take the effort to bring more convenience to each other. take the trains for example. u know in singapore when the train arrives at the stop, there'll normally be an arc of people surrounding the door? u know what they do here? they line up in 2 STRAIGHT lines on either side of the door, and when the doors open the 2 rows move aside and let EVERY SINGLE PERSON out 1st before they move in in an ORDERLY FASHION! omg we have so much to learn in singapore man.
on the bus... they REALLY squeeze into the bus. today got squashed like a sardine. then when u wanna get off, they really push themself against the side so that u can have a smoother time getting off the bus man. and my sis dropped so many things on the way out of the bus and they all helped her pick them up. so damn cool man!
on the escalators, they actually keep to one side lah! in singapore there are signs all over saying keep left. and we don't really follow them. here there aren't any signs, but people all still stand on one side! something we don't really observe in singapore either lah
we singaporeans are proud people, but then so are the japanese. but i think that they have more reason to be proud of themselves. i mean sure their infrastructure might not be as fantastic as ours, but they more than make up for it in the way they act! no way in hell i'll ever see what i experienced today in singapore man. we're just too lazy hahaha and here, almost everything they use is made in japan! i haven't seen a single nokia phone, any ipods or creative mp3 players. very very few german cars. all i see are casio phones hahaha and all their phones are clamshell phones man. so odd...
tomorrow's temperature might reach 0 i heard, so wonderful hahaha and if it's windy, i'm gg to be in for a hell of a cold time.

the home of nippon paint (part ONE)...
i'm in japan now. using my dad's laptop in the hotel room. time here is one hour ahead of singapore, so i guess i'm still a bit energetic. not to mention i slept for so long just now cause there's only one shower, so i just slept while i waited hahaha
it's cold here, but still not the coldest i've experienced. i mean i can walk around without wearing gloves and the headwarmer thingy, so it's not that cold yet. apparently it's supposed to snow on sunday, so that'd be nice to see. and the good thing is the when it snows the temperature wouldn't be as cold! still got to figure out why.
ANYWAY! when we got to the hotel room today, there was this whole tray of CHOCOLATE! got both brown and white man... piled up a little bit hahaha so just eat eat eat :p will make ANYONE jealous man!!! ;)
anyway the buildings here are damn dense man. got like close to zero greenery? the only greenery i've seen are small cabbage farms built right next to houses hahaha otherwise it's really a concrete jungle. if the singapore government came here can imagine thousands of 40 storey HDB flats sia hahaha and of course no more farms and more trees and shrubs :p
oh well tomorrow more sight seeing and having difficulty more difficulty communicating with the people here. try and see whether can help clar get her lv wallet or not... so ex but she still wanna buy. madness!!! hahaha girls ah girls... haiz... :p
tags:
shufang: hope ur knee is better. i.e. not oozing as much pus as before and the swelling has gone down. oh and if got anymore questions about basic theory can ask here hahaha
cheryl: eh u said i'm your shifu loh!!! so i'm the champion's CHAMPION!!! MUAHAHAHAHA mad hamster... heard u damn wild at club also :p
derek: just consider yourself lucky lah. or maybe we're finally growing up hahaha u might still be safe in commando camp after all...
BANG!: shuddup lah hahaha just wanted to bang u :p

class chalet...
i'm back from class chalet. and as expected, i didn't manage to cover all the costs. go figure. anyway it was cool... i guess hahaha
1st day uhhh... shawn, marian and i went in early. and i mean EARLY. we sat by the counter for like 40 minutes waiting for the key. we actually thought we had to wait till 2.30 for the damn key. so we were sitting there, keeping ourselves entertained. then at 1.10 a lady managed to get her key! so i looked at shawn, and shawn looked at me, and we both stood up, AND WE MANAGED TO GET OUR KEY!!!! MUAHAHAHAHAHA
yah so anyway we went to the room and low and behold it was this puny little thing with a toilet about 1.5 times the size of your average lift. oh and it had fat lizards too hahaha and i mean FAT. must be all the leftover bbq food. anyway we set up many's ps 1st and started racing. soon after josh and derek came with the food. and with food i mean no drinks, no charcoal, no firestarters and no lighters. of course i didn't know that when they came. so play play play. PS all the way. bit by bit people arrived. xuan rui's blue hair became white, blue and green hahaha i'm sure he intended it to be all white, but dying your hair yourself means u can't see your whole head and therefore can't really get a very even new hair colour. suddenly my left wrist hurts. damn it what's wrong with it.
anyway bbq drew nearer, and we realised we didn't have the above mentioned items necessary for a bbq. so josh and derek went to parkway to get some stuff. can't remember what now, but it wasn't charcoal or a firestarter hahaha THEN shawn and i went galavanting for a while, and realised that THE DAMN CHALET DOESN'T COME WITH A BBQ PIT! ahhh life sucks now and then. so we walked all over the place and finally decided to book the pit along the beach right outside our room.
then later we realised that we didn't have charcoal and fire starters one at a time. so josh and derek cycled back to parkway on 2 separate occasions to get charcoal, and firestarters along with lighters. damn funny lah. and i thought they had planned the food part hahaha but anyway i'm sure it was good exercise :)
bbq... i set up the fire along with derek and xuan rui, then i stepped aside and didn't cook. reason being? i know i can't cook, and i know the girls are alot better at cooking than me, and the pit was damn crowded. so i just stuck to the preparation and cleaning up. too many chicken wings again as usual. i'm still waiting for the day when a bbq i attend has the exact amount of food for everyone, with no leftovers hahaha that'll be the day man.
early in the morning went cycling with chip and josh. went beyond bedok jetty, and far far down until we reached a road which was really too dark, so we decided to turn back. man my ass was damn sore. the stars at the jetty were really really clear. if the lights were off i tell u it would've been really beautiful man. but even with the lights glaring we could still see the stars really clearly. and i actually identified orion's belt! WAHAHAHAHA ok maybe cheap thrill lah, but i'm no astronomer u see :p
second day onwards quite routine lah. wake up late. eat junk food. zao sia like mad (some disease, every single guy zao sia-ed, kwee would've been proud), cycle, blade, shufang fell down (what's new).
ok fine a bit more elaboration. 2nd night most of the peeps went clubbing. a couple went home. so left me, marian and shufang. had leftover food for dinner. we just boiled it all hahaha so healthy. koon came a bit later, and he helped us devour the logcake that mr kwee bought for us. it was gone before we knew it. then he left soon after. hahaha poor boy busy wrapping presents at toys r us. louis came back suddenly, after sending clarrisa home, then we played wrestling for a while as the girls slept. soon i KO-ed, and the next thing i know it's saturday hahaha
saturday, shufang fell down. biggest event of the day. making her last turn and she left on her LEFT arm. reminder, she broke her left collar bone a couple of months back. think she screwed it up again, and her knee has a huge swell and it's oozing liquid. yeah basically that's how it looks. tried to clean it for her, but she kept squirming so we had to hold her arms and legs down. yes we know it hurts shufang, but we HAD to clean it u know... the road ain't exactly the cleanest place on earth. so she squirmed and marian and i cleaned. lucky we both brought 1st aid stuff hahaha she had a fun time removing the gause the next morning.
OH YES! tried playing vball with josh for a while. my goodness i need help. hahaha i'm losing it! i mean the ball still goes up, but not exactly where i want it too. but yah my legs felt a bit stiff.
this morning was interesting. got up late, and scurried out of the room hahaha actually most of the scurrying was done inside the room hahaha. pack bag so fast. pack up ps, clean up the toilet, floor, chairs and beds. stuff EVERYWHERE. actually had to return bikes by 11, not sure if we had to pay anymore coz we were like 40 minues late.
so that was chalet. it was GREAT. all the guys zai sia-ed. shufang fell down. i slept the longest. we DIDN'T wassup derek. omg the world is coming to an end hahaha
cheers 2t19 2005... and i'll be seeing you around, wherever we may end up working/studying/slacking. i'll miss you guys.

like shufang said...
my blogs getting dry hahaha
ANYWAY! past few days been going out everyday! except weekends lah :p need to stay at home again... go out again when i start earning my own money.
prom yesterday. it was not bad actually. quite good food. entertaining emcee. screaming girls (as usual). and a guys night at my house! hahaha miss those days man. had 5 josephians and 1 cat high guy at my house (poor xr :p) anyway watched chicken run and kung fu hustle. played alot of computer, and slept on the floor hahaha 1st time staying up till 7am for me. but then i slept from 7.30 to 8.30, then 9 to 11 hahaha sleep is still necessary lah. took tons of photos at prom, but gotta get them from people, as i didn't bring my camera along hahaha sianz... but that's the price one pays for being lazy to carry an extra device around :p lots of people's cameras went dead by the end of the dinner :p
anyway shopping for prom has taken it's toll. yesterday when we went to suntec to visit koon, we saw G2000 and we all squirmed hahaha "i'm never going to go shopping there again" hahaha but now really no one really has the mood to shop anymore. and they still gotta do christmas shopping :p madness
went to bukit batok driving centre today to register to learn how to DRIVE! and the place was bloody flooded lah! so damn many people! got a shock hahaha so going to go early tomorrow, and hopefully be able to make better sense of where i have to go. anyway i gotta go back again tomorrow because i forgot to bring a passport sized photo hahaha but yah luckily it's not that far from my house. only 5 mrt stops and a short walk. so it's no problem i guess, unless it rains. then there's ALWAYS a problem hahaha
tomorrow i'm taking part in a badminton competition organised by koon's church. crazy that i'm taking part in a badminton competition since i haven't really played badminton for what... 6 months? hahaha hopefully playing vball helps me keep in touch with my aiming, sure the shuttlecock is smaller than the volleyball, but the idea is there, and my smashing muscle has been trained hahaha
to the working world! RAWWRRRR!!!

WOW!!!
the view is fantastic... everything is so BIG and CLEAR! who cares about the school computer screen now? i got a 19 inch LCD screen at home!!! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA thx dad =) damn shiok to play games now man... i think if play CS on a screen this size... the sniper scope will be damn cool lah. and if u play games like doom and a monster pops out, u'll just freak out and die hahaha especially if u play at night :p
anywayz... like since the As ended is like play play play. play lan, play xbox, play volleyball... but i still need to play clean up my room hahaha notes are still strewn all over the floor. jialat getting lazy again :(
today supposed to go sentosa, but never in the end coz it was RAINING! AGAIN!!! argh... stupid weather. rain so much... but i guess tt's why it's the monsoon season hahaha wonder when i'll be able to get my tan back man... all the mugging in the library has taken my darkness away. tt sounds kinda funny actually hahaha
grad night next tuesday. alot more hype about this one than the sji one. in this case hype means guys spending alot more time and thought when buying clothes, and more people are asking what other people are wearing. guess when u're in an all guy environment and the only females around are your teachers it doesn't really matter hahaha but it should be interesting, and i'm still wondering if i should do anything to my hair :p
tags (long overdue, apologies):
sis: haven't been sleeping alot actually... been sleeping quite late recently hahaha
amy: hi doolie... you wanna meet foolie? :p eoolie doesn't work, so had to jump to f
glenn: yes green indeed... but i might be wearing blue again for all your know hahaha

i'm just really bored...
| You Are 70% Boyish and 30% Girlish |
You are pretty evenly split down the middle - a total eunuch. Okay, kidding about the eunuch part. But you do get along with both sexes. You reject traditional gender roles. However, you don't actively fight them. You're just you. You don't try to be what people expect you to be. |
what say you guys and girls? hahaha
| You Are Balanced - Realist - Empowered |
You feel your life is controlled both externally and internally. You have a good sense of what you can control and what you should let go. Depending on the situation, you sometimes try to exert more control. Other times, you accept things for what they are and go with the flow. You are a realist when it comes to luck. You don't attribute everything to luck, but you do know some things are random. You don't beat yourself up when bad things happen to you... But you do your best to try to make your own luck. You have a good deal of power, but you also know the pecking order. You realize that working the system does get you further. You know who to defer to and who to control. When it comes to the game of life, you play things flawlessly. |
ok tt's just freaky...

all done here...
A levels ended yesterday... feel ok about it, but not as fantastic as O levels, but still it's ok.
realise i don't feel really REALLY jovial about the end of As, like i did at the end of Os where i went absolutely nuts and played badminton for 3 hours straight hahaha it's a more of a surreal feeling now.
anyway yesterday after they said pens down, me, ganesh, joshua and derek were practically smiling the whole time while they were collecting our papers. the teacher gave us all weird stares lah, but we just kept smiling hahaha my feet kept shuffling under my chair, and so were derek's and josh's :p it was damn funny. t20 in the audi extension made a hell lot of noise when they were realised. nothing surprising actually, since it's an all guy class hahaha
so now it's the 1st day of the rest of my life. out of the singapore education system, and free to do most things. work or slack, drive or walk, or whatever. still suffering from hangover where one is rather tired hahaha only managed to sleep 9 hours before waking up by myself. so odd. body is used to waking up by itself already, and not sleeping for so long. oh well...
kiddy life is over. adult life in the form of ns will be coming soon. should be interesting. to have to deal with politics all over again. suddenly running out of things to blog. oh well... next time then :)

did you really HAVE to do that?
well if you don't know yet, i still haven't got my PES status for NS, still at PES D, for the past 4 months. and i told my mum not to worry about it, and don't bother calling anyone about it because it would just be a waste of her time. and what is she doing when she picks me up today? SHE'S TALKING TO SOME DOCTOR ABOUT MY PES STATUS!!! really lah was damn irritated the entire ride home. she probably could've sensed it. but i mean can't you like at least respect my friggin' decision to only call someone after the As?!?! as if it affects YOUR life! yah i know she's worried and stuff, but what's that going to do for anyone? my file is probably in some corner, and when u call them, they'll probably have a look at your file, then throw it back in the corner! don't even have any friggin' respect for the decisions i make, what's the point of me listening to yours!?!? just please stop treating me like a little kid who's got zero experience in the damn world can?!!? don't know why the hell i took part in all those things for if it obviously isn't proving a damn thing to you. to go through all the shit and to still be seen as the same useless dumb shit who doesn't know how to take care of himself. WHAT'S THE POINT LAH!!!

just like minesweeper...
i've come to realise that... life is very much like a minesweeper game. there are times when it's so easy and straightforward that you can go through it so quickly without much problems. there can also be times when u're absolutely stuck, and have to take a gamble to find the way out. if it's the right choice, you can go on again. but if it's wrong, you're dead. there are also times when u'd feel so irritated with yourself when the correct route to take was so obvious, but because of a twitch or slip of the finger, you make the wrong choice, and again u're dead. and most obviously if you take too long to make up your mind and keep dawdling over it, time will run out and you'll be dead as well.
all of it has happened to me except the last one, and i hope the last one will, because that will be the ultimate form of stupidity on one's part.
there are choices to be made in every step of life, and i've made this choice...

stupid nose...
spent most of the day nursing my nose. kept sneezing at irregular intervals, so much so that i couldn't do much work in school. damn it lah waste so much damn time. at least now it's a bit better. but just some updates hahaha
NS!!! i think all the guys in my class have got their letters already. we already have a diver in the name of wee koon. many is so proud of her STEPson hahaha joshua and derek are potential commandos, so that's cool. but we got no air force people. sad. and shawn's most probably going to be a clerk or storeman, since he's PES C due to his back hahaha most of cj guys are going in april. fewer are going in in january. and what about me? well my PES status hasn't even been confirmed yet, much less my enlistment date hahaha my PES D status was only supposed to be valid for 3 months, but it's already been 4 hahaha i guess i'll give them a call if nothing happens by end of As. but for now i have a feeling i'll be going to police... more blue... more PA... haiz...
anywayz some post As plans. go penang, family thing, must learn from my dad. learn to blade. fix my bicycle (punctured tyre for eons). clce around. learn to drive. class chalet. drive a bit (fuel prices going up u know, can't drive THAT much hahaha). tt's all i got for now.
xin: yes xin nice to know that you feel that it's nice to see that you feel nice seeing me and so i'm sure i shall see you seeing me again so that we can both feel nice seeing each other hahaha
py: that line is "never forget the child within you". bro mike said that i think. it's stuck with me lah
lizz: yeah it gets better, but how much better is the bigger question ain't it?
mad: yeah xr's got a scary friendster account. makes me wonder where he meets all those FWALs and camera whores. i think they're kinda "off" mentally hahaha

early in the morning...
7.40 in the morning... usually i'd be at morning assembly, but now i'm blogging outside the library hahaha well library's not open yet, so i might as well update my blog hahaha lots of J1s running past behind me, coz the bell just rang and they're supposed to be at the quadrangle by 7.40 *duh* hahaha
anyway just read cheryl's blog about the FWALs... go check out her entry, damn bloody funny with all the wORxzz* and mie-s hahaha but it's really all damn funny... people who somehow try to act soooo damn cute on friendster, and end up having their pictures all looking the same. with the big eyes and long fringes over their heads. for the perfect example go to xuan rui's friendster profile, and the 6 girls on the side somehow alll look the same hahaha
been mugging my ass off lately in the library. still don't really like the library, but really there's not many other places to choose from. everywhere else is just too noisy, since the j1s are still having lessons. i think even after they've finished school the school will still be kinda noisy, so i guess it's the library for a few more weeks until the 16 november when it's all over. still got a lot to do... a HELL lot more to do. so oh well...
cheryl: SOBS too hahaha miss school aye? or you just miss me? hahaha
lizz: hey don't tell me u weren't happy at was over as well huh!!! i'm sure u were silently celebrating as well, just that only showed it hahaha and i've never seen anyone throwing a paper plane around in church before, that was an interesting sight. thank amy for me :)
xin: hi xin, i see you're here again hahaha nice to see you here again and i hope to see you here again soon hahaha siao liao :p

i can't really study now...
i'm on the school computers (the ones with the pentium 4 processor and 17 inch philips LCD screens) again, and i can't study as mentioned above because there are J1s making a hell lot of noise due to the catholic retreat. the drilling and hammering i don't mind. but they're really making alot of noise. blasting music out of the hall when i'm studying outside the teachers' room isn't exactly very good for studying.
the ceiling in the guy's toilet is collapsing. and guess what's above that part... THE GIRLS' TOILET!!! hahaha makes us guys wonder why we don't understand girls :p maybe the girls nowadays are too stressed, so go to the toilet to stomp on the floor or something. but whatever's going on up there, the guys below are being affected. so those of you who live in hdbs, be considerate to the neighbours who live below you hahaha
yes so anyway schools out. graduation was kinda cool. the video montage was nice. and we all got our testimonials, report cards (which isn't exactly good), and graduation collar pins. mr kwee even wrote all of us a little private note. the testimonials were nice. and i really appreciate his private note. it got me thinking most of the way home. and we wrote notes on classmates papers. that i was nice too. i gave everyone a little chicken, and the line i'll never forget from sji graduation. hopefully it works for them too :)
oh yes... and the highlights of the day were of course the wassups! right at the end we locked every one in the class and got all the guys, except jerome, because he was skillfully writing the notes to classmates that we somehow overlooked him. sneaky bugger, never mind we've still got class chalet to have some fun. just hope the chalet floor isn't as hard :p
i'll be missing school life surprisingly... all the friends that i've made over the years. as koon so aptly put it, we've come to the end of our schooling career which began 15 years ago with nursery. 1 year nursery. 2 years kindergarten. 6 years primary school. 4 years secondary school. and 2 years JC. but i guess jc isn't all over yet. in 5 weeks it will be though. REALLY over. damn As... then begins the rest of our life. heard NS changes everyone who goes in. most of the time for the better. never heard of people coming out worst from NS actually. probably because all the sai kang inside there teachs them some humility. hopefully i learn more than that lah hoh? hahaha

argh i missed it!!!
aye aye aye my blog turned 2 one and a half weeks ago!!! i had a feeling it was around this period, because this was when O levels prelims ended 2 years ago, so i just checked, and realised it was on 27 sept 2003 that i started this blog. my oh my... how things have changed.
2 years of memories in this blog... that's a very long time indeed. somehow i feel as if i've moved in a figure of eight over the past 2 years, just that certain people have joined me in my little figure of eight. and i picked up a few things while going around the track as well. just hope the next 2 years will see me leave this figure of eight. better to go on to a better track than remain on the same one forever yeah? just hope the next track will be better than the currect track, but that all depends on where this current track of mine ends... with me climbing up the ladder, or rolling down the hill.

shaun was here..!!
it has come down to this...
the line above was typed by good ol' shaun wong btw... he just popped by beside me hahaha anyway yeah i'm outside the library now using the damn cool new computers with philips flat screens!!! damn it just wanna take it home can! 19 inch leh!!! haiz... anywayz they got these swanking new comps just in time for open house tomorrow. the school is kinda quiet now, probably becuase it's friday night and everyone's gone home to rest and make up for the lost energy recently. but i'm determined to study tonight hahaha
anyway tomorrow is cj's 1st ever open house. but somehow i don't think cj really needs an open house. wastage of resources? hahaha i mean cj has 16 affiliated secondary schools, and with RJ and HC not accepting anymore students outside their respective affiliated secondary schools, there should be less space for more students. and just now when i heard that the J2 counsellors planned this a long time ago, i heaved a sigh of relief, mainly becuase of the way the J1 counsellors are doing stuff now, after teachers day and all, and with the number of arrogant buggers working their "magic" among the nicer people inside there.
mug mug mug. my life for the next one month. tomorrow is 8 october. A levels start on 8 november. you do the math

xin: hahaha thanks for the timely reminder, of how insignificant our lives are to the whole world and how out of control we are at the same time... and hope you enjoy your holidays :)
mad: ahhh everyone's stress!!! and so is mine obviously hahaha you know you know ;) yeah anyway all you need is adrenaline. lots and lots of adrenaline hahaha hang in there teapot! :)
night study awaits me... bring on the physics!!!

it's been long... but it's going to get longer...
oh well... it's 2.30 in the morning just as i type this line, which means it's 1st october, so to all you people out there... HAPPY CHILDREN'S DAY!!!! don't care how old you are, as long as there's still a child within you screaming to be let out, you deserve a happy children's day hahaha some lasting words in my memory from sji at graduation from mr lui. he said "never forget the child within you". don't know if it means to any of you readers, but to me, it just really struck a chord. and i'll remember it for the rest of my life. is there still a child within me? i guess so, seeing as how i can do incredibly stupid things at times. but then again i feel that this child is getting covered up gradually. he's getting less and less play time, but then again i guess it's not really entirely up to us how much this little kiddo gets out and enjoys the sun. but just remember he's in there somewhere yah? ;)
ok just pulled of a big piece of dead skin from my right shoulder... so moving along...
i guess my previous entry sounded a little depressing, but that's how i felt i guess. things ain't getting better or easier as i expected, but instead i think they're getting worst. and now bang's got the same problem as me. only thing is his has been compounded by people's big fat mouths, whereas mine is uhhh... kinda unknown? ahhh it's all been just a very interesting experience, and there's more than a couple more in store for me i'm sure.
the end of prelims this time around don't feel like the end of prelims at Os in any way at all. after prelims at Os i was merrily playing basketball with bang, and hardly being able to touch my books. of course occasionally i did lah, but it was nothing compared to now. i'm neck deep in books already, and still i'm not going fast enough. i know i need to go faster, but the human mind as it's limits. something called fatigue tends to set in more easily in the mind than in the body. that being said, my body is wasting away. not been getting alot of exercise nowadays. ran on tuesday and thursday with many and josh though, but what i really wanna do is play vball. even if it means spiking against the wall i'm ok, just get me a damn ball!!! hahaha i say that because the school pe office is always closed in the morning, and the pe teachers all come damn late, and the vball i have at home is not meant to be played on concrete flooring, cause it'll just completely screw up the ball :p
ms fernandez is getting kinda... not so much irritating, but buggy. is like the more she speaks the less we wanna speak up. and she keeps harping on the fact that our class has 50% failures for essay. don't know if she's noticed, but i think doing that doesn't really inspire my class, but rather either leaves us where we are, or pulls us down. negative pressure just simply doesn't work for some people. maybe someone should tell her that...
sometimes i don't understand why some people have to be such busy bodies and know everything about other people's relationships. i mean whether the guy is together with the girl or not, yeah sure you can ask, and if he says yes so be it, and if he says no, SO BE IT! if he says yes, sure it's nice to ask now and then how's things going, but don't bug him for all the details. but when he says no, and somehow the entire world believes it's yes, there's really no need to disturb him about it every second of the day. as if you would have a chance of being with the girl hahaha there are limits to how far a person can be pushed, and that limit is a very fine line, but sad to say some people are either too immature to see it, or they simply don't care.
oh yeah btw if you haven't heard it before, go listen to def leppards have you ever needed someone. really nice song. and yes.

post prelims: day 1...
prelims are over. slack and have fun till sunday. monday back to mugging. no more time to waste after that. chiong all the way to the end. anywayz prelims... gp hopefully can maintain b4 for now, physics D? maths E? econs D? dunno lah. but i know if i fail anything i'm dead. maths kinda risky lah. can't seem to get maths right nowadays. i think from now on everyday must do at least some tys questions. everyday just do do do until my uhhh... pen runs out of ink? :x so yah busy busy bee to be after sunday. mug my ass off...
today went sentosa with class. ok half the class. ok fine less than half the class. clar and elisa last minute couldn't come due to parental objections. cannot relax man they'll. poor lil' cheryl's got exam tmr. so in the end there were only 2 girls tini and many. guys go quite alot lah. me, josh, koon, louis, shawn, jerome, vig, and of course derek. well today we wassuped him 4 times. or was it 5? can't exactly remember actually hahaha but today was a very very very wet day. rained so much that we spent most of our time up on the tower at palawan beach, and i didn't even get burnt hahaha oh well i guess it's a blessing in disguise since i'll be going back over there again tomorrow with the vball people. don't think alot of people are going though, but i just wanna play vball lah put it that way :) and we're meeting at 10.30... the most absurd timing for sentosa i've ever heard. the girls really just want the sun man. better eat a big breakfast. and i mean big as in a large breakfast, and not the mcdonalds big breakfast (hur hur hur)
*yawn* on to tags...
GUESSWHO: not very difficult to guess who guesswho is lah hoh... btw it was reverse psychology, coz i know u don't wanna see me sing and dance, so u naturally got better on ur own hahaha not bad right ;)
tze: shuddup lah bang hahaha gnab gnab...
fuzz: yah i'm sure she's still like that. standing with her hand on her hip and sitting on the table like she owns the place hahaha oh well without her i'm sure our upper sec life wouldn't have been so interesting

boring happy happy happy teachers day!!!
it was TEACHERS' day yesterday. the most interesting teachers' day i've ever had i must say hahaha beginning was boring beyond boring. cj concert sucked man. maybe coz of the space constraint, but whatever it is, they better do a better job for our grad dinner man... otherwise i'll use the forks and knives there and start practicing my aiming. but the best part of it all was that we ended at 9... 9!!! CAN U BELIEVE IT?!!?! hahaha
anywayz after that walked to sji with neo, shaun, shem, ben tay and he xiang. last time i'll be walking down that lonely road, i think. but it's always been interesting, coz everytime i walk along that road means i'm going back to sji :) got to sji arnd 9.40? not so sure, never check handphone. went to staff room (which i really love, because we can actually see for ourselves whether the teacher we're looking for is there or not, unlike cj's staffroom), and found mafia mama!!! hahaha in case u're wondering who mafia mama is... she's my upper sec form teacher. we called her mafia mama because uhhh... hmmm... that's actually i very good question. any 409 ppl who read this, can tag why we gave her that name please... i totally forgot hahaha anywayz her hair isn't the old pontianak style anymore, but she's still as white hahaha same same lah she... still teaches 409, and apparently this batch of 409-ers are bringing her more headaches than we did. so you see... WE'RE GOOD BOYS!!! hahaha even though u all might think otherwise... u ain't seen it all till u've seen our juniors! heehee :p
hmmm who else did i see... aiyah i practically saw all my sec 4 teachers lah!!! hahaha miss matthews (history), mr poon (physics), mrs tan(maths), mrs tan (chem), mrs tan (chinese). i only had 1 male teacher (surprising for a guys school). the only teacher i didn't see was my pe teacher, but don't really give a shit abt him lah hahaha so it's ok.
after that went to the PAC (the ORIGINAL one) to watch the teachers' day concert. all i can say is... it was a MEGA HELL LOT BETTER THAN THE CJ ONE!!! hahaha i mean it really felt like sji lah. guys going crazy on stage, and nice songs being sung as well. alot more guys singing this year compared to a couple of years ago though, but at least they still know how to go crazy hahaha i mean even i cheered lah!!! think about that... the old boys cheered as well!!! and in cj what did i do? sit on the floor (pac has nice chairs), stone, listen and think "wth" while things went on hahaha and in sji... i actually cheered with my arms up in the air!!! WAHAHAHA especially when mafia mama and tpl came up on the slide presentation. but really... the performances were woah... especially the song cum presentation one. really damn funny. was actually kinda hoping there would be a school cheer or something, but i guess good things come in bundles :)
so after the damn bloody good performance, went down to canteen, and was about to leave before i said "hey let's eat the malay food!!!" hahaha the malay food in sji is still the best man. haven't eaten it for a while, coz everytime i go back for unit trg, the queue is too long and i'm already late, so yah hahaha spent 3 bucks worth there man. should've bought more man... damn!
so after tt took the jolly ol' bus home, and wasted the rest of the day away. note... day, not night hahaha
met me class ppl between 6.30 and 7, coz ppl aren't always on time, and went to wheelock for teachers' day dinner with KWeeEEEeeEEEEeee hahaha haven't eaten there for a long time, mainly coz it's damn ex, but once in a blue moon... i guess it's fine. somehow the guys all sat at one table, and all the girls at another. not counting marian, who gave up her seat so that kwee could be in his comfort zone (i.e. having a meal with more than 1 girl at the same table with him, and no other males) when i finished my meal i realised i wasn't very full, so i kinda tried to scavange from the girl's table. only manage to get 2 fries... and i was still hungry. oh well...
after that we sang happy teachers' day to kwee outside wheelock place. after that we kinda shouted out "MR ALEX KWEE FROM CJC ECONS DEPARTMENT" and i almost yelled out "lives with his parents" but i decided not to, since it WAS teachers' day hahaha
after that we just walked arnd aimlessly, and i mean aimlessly. but went into topshop for a while to look see look see... and decided where i'm going to spend my 1st NS pay check hahaha shirts there are just too expensive man...
oh well... prelims start tomorrow, i'm sick of studying already, i wanna run but i'm too lazy, i wanna play volleyball, but gotta find people who wanna play with me, and a ball as well... and i wanna play piano, but i'm just too damn rusty and i've forgotten everything hahaha oh well... till next time my dear readers! hahaha

it's sunday morning!!!
hmmm i actually kinda miss the feeling of blogging hahaha maybe my fingers are just very very itchy. anywayz it's 8.25 on a SUNDAY morning. so what am i doing awake now? playing computer games lah! hahaha since i can't play at night coz my mum will chase me to bed... might as well sleep a bit earlier on saturday night and wake up a bit earlier on sunday morning to play computer :p ok now it's getting a bit warm coz my sis has the fan and the sunshine outside is getting brighter. ahhh yes the powers of radiation...
anywayz friday night was good. the PAC is finally open!!! hahaha so bro paul has officially brought his idea from sji to cjc. so now both sji and cjc have PACs. but somehow the sji PAC is still nicer. and it is bigger as well. sji pac has green chairs, and cjc pac has blue chairs (wow...) sure the cjc pac building is bigger, but not really worth the space lah.
anyway the performances were good. bang did well... now he's no longer as unknown as he would like to be... and alot of girls are swooning over him (yes bang get used to it)
bro paul: "won 1000 dollars in an essay writing competition"
audience: "woahhhhh..."
hahaha so now bang is known as fireman. how fascinating hahaha bang bang the fireman :p that sounds interesting enough... well done man! :)
oh well time to have breakfast... *yawn*

i haven't blogged for 3 weeks!!! wow and ouch... guess i've just been reading other people's blogs, and just checking in with mine at time to see if anyone tagged.
from where i left off. SJI AP 2005 would be my last one as an npcc member. don't think i'd become a HO, so i guess that's that. the end of my 6 year career in npcc. i have to admit that towards the end it did start to get a bit draggy, but it still went along interestingly for me. no more late nights with documents to do, no more saturday meetings to attend, no more events and camps to plan for. it's all done. and as what glenn did, a list of things that i've achieved over the past 6 years in npcc...

happy happy birthday...
ok lah not yet. still got one more day hahaha oh well in the morning we were shouting at the sky, simply because it was POURING! we had all sorts of expert opinions from ncc sea, ncc air and npcc ppl hahaha but in the end, it STOPPED!!! WAHAHAHAHA the heavens were being kind to us, they were giving us a cool environment for our parade ;) so yeah it all went find and dandy... except at the end, somehow ben claimed we were going to bang into someone if we did not turn earlier, so i turned, and did an immediate semi-crab march around the candle hahaha so much for quick thinking, but could hear people laughing when that happened lah. oh well... at least the rest of the parade went on fine :)
when i marched in i refused to look to my left, simply because all the girls in my class would probably have been making funny faces at me, but i wouldn't know hahaha when i turned arnd, i still refused to look at my right, but i did look to my left... oh well... nothing ventured nothing gained. but in the end, nothing was gained hahaha
left school for sji, dropped off my things in the staff room, had a little chat with TPL, then squeezed onto the bus towards far east. had BK, and then they went off shopping at paragon, and here i am. gotta rest for tonight lah... really hope it goes ok. my last time wearing uniform today, np one at least. gotta swap my dark blue for dirty green soon. hum di dum... ok now i shall continue with the rest of my rest and relax. actually i think i'm resting and relaxing too much... crap...

vacuum cleaners?
ok i haven't been in here for a while. sorry blog. sorry ppl who have been reading. but yah i'm here now! hahaha hmmm let's see... life has been the same. by same i mean study eat sleep study eat sleep study eat sleep. oh and of course shitting, and the occasional morning run, which need to do more of. but anyway... yeah tt's life.
can't study at pine grove anymore. stupid sec 4 IJ girls. they bring their books into the place, and end up playing cards and gossiping all night long. yak yak yak... dunno how to just SHUT UP! *ahem* so yeah... pine grove is now a bad place to study, as long as those 2 'kiddies' hang arnd there. i can't study in school, coz it's just a really sad place to study, and i'd probably end up doing all sorts of things EXCEPT study, so yeah. not exactly good timing i must say.
hmmm no volleyball for the next couple of weeks, unless i play on wednesday that is. why? coz of mock exams. had econs paper 3 mock last wednesday, and physics mock on friday. next friday got econs paper 1 and 2 mock, saturday having GP mock, and the FOLLOWING friday there's maths mock. so practically all my fridays have been chomped up, in other words no vball. damn it.
remember i said i need to make the occasional morning runs more than occasional? yeah i need to exercise. i realise how i feel and how my ***** move are all affected by how much i exercise. and running at home now just sucks, coz there's circle line construction going on by holland village, where i used to run the most, so i don't wanna go arnd inhaling dust and suffocating to death. so basically, despite how much i suck at running, i still want to do it, and need to do it. run run run... still prefer it more than mug mug mug.
oh yeah... on wednesday went NUH for my cardio test. for NS lah. basically was on the threadmill for 12 minutes. went through 4 stages if i'm not wrong. at each stage the speed got higher, and the incline got steeper. reminded me of how unfit i am now. another motivation for me to run. of course i went back to school for econs mock after that. cheryl told me that they'll told mr ho that i went to hospital (which technically is true), and he got a shock hahaha can imagine his face, so like mr ho. actually nowadays he's not so bad. no more pms-es, and not that many long stories. sure he still does talk cock and waste time in class, but it's much better than last time. so cheers to mr ho hahaha
on a rather sad note. something i used to enjoy doing so much, now seems like such a chore to me. maybe i'm switched off it already. but i must say, recent events have been pushing me in that direction. things don't work like they're supposed to anymore, and now it's too late for me to help change anything else. yet again i've passed things on, and yet again i don't like what i see. 2nd time i've had to go through this feeling. last time i could've done something, but i wasn't around enough. this time... it's too late. no time left. i'm out. wonder how much longer they can stay afloat. right now they're on the verge of sinking, barely being able to breathe above the surface. and the people who are supposed to be better than the rest, turn out to be just as irresponsible. how am i to leave with people like this still hanging around? don't think i'll be able to find peace within myself over this.
if you've read this far, well done and congrats hahaha
hmmm... about the running, sorry to bring it up again, but it seems that i feel like really running nowadays. not just in the literal sense. i wanna run away from the studies. i wanna run away from the problems. i wanna run away from myself. and of course, i wanna run, as earlier mentioned. but it's scary. since when was i a runner? i've never tried to run so much before. why didn't i run years ago, and why am i starting to run only now? not really good timing... yet again...
wednesday is think careers day. for the 1st 2 slots chose SAF and police as my 1 choices. somehow i've come to like disciplined environments. more control. but then again i like to be in control of things. of course another reason was there was really nothing else in the 1st 2 slots that really appealed to me lah. the 3rd (or was it 4th?) slot, nothing appealed to me either. so i just put hospitality as my 1st choice hahaha since people around me were bugging me to go for that anyway. i guess i can be a hospitable person hahaha
happy mugging my muggy friends! even if u don't have exams coming yet, they'll be upon you eventually, so don't waste time. ;)

seize it...
my self-imposed once a week opportunity on the comp again... so might as well use it.
the week went by much pretty much the same as last week. what's new hahaha only main difference is that today it rained, unlike last friday when it was blazing hot. today played with germaine for a while lah. become so lazy already, and i've become weaker hahaha felt tired after playing for just a while lah. sianz. and my spiking sucks again. after last week when i was so happy that it was actually still ok!!! crappy shit...
exam results... B4, DEF. sian diao. enough said. cyaz next week blog.

is this even called a life???
i'm touching the computer and keyboard for the 1st time since last monday!!! how freakin' sad is that man. spent the whole damn week studying... came back too late to actually use the computer, coz obviously you can't use the computer with your eyes closed :p i now realise i can't type as fast and as well as i could a week ago. shiat! my typing skills have abandoned me!!!
anywayz... exam results coming back in bits and pieces. scaring the shit out of me. don't wanna go to school anymore. enough said about that.
judo guys and girls got into finals, both against HC. really happy for them. they all deserve it. coz sitting next to shufang u see how many bruises one gets from judo throughout the entire course of their training. unless she's the only one who gets that many bruises lah. but i guess not, coz cheryl re-injured both her knees, huishan injured her back and her knee, herge's old back injury came back over and over again, xuanrui broke his collar bone... so yah judo is a violent sport, but they've worked hard to get to where they are now. all the best to CJ judo :)
sean tan and ppg are back from london. THANK GOODNESS!!! bloody bombs... anyway met up with xin, shaun, jr, gc, bren, ppg and sean for lunch at seoul garden yesterday before they headed to renaissance. couldn't join them coz i had to be home for my sis' very belated 21st bday celebration. 2 months and 1 week late to be exact. but she wasn't in singapore at that time, so yah it had to be this week of all weeks, when i actually decided and arranged to go for renaissance for my supposed last time a couple of weeks before that.
anywayz the dinner like a mad house lah. 70 people coming to your place, and luckily our driveway was big enough. spent some time directing cars in, where to park and stuff. and my mum cannot direct traffic for nuts. got so much space inside and she makes them park further out beyond the gate. haiz... had to ask ppl to get into their cars again to bring them further in. i don't want a party like this when i reach 21 man. so many people shaking your hands saying happy birthday at one shot, then u can't breathe coz u gotta smile like throughout the whole night and it's so congested in the house. every step you take someone will try to talk to you. buay tahan man. i spent most of my time outside the house talking lah. only went in when i had to go to the kitchen or something. anywayz i hope my sister had a nice time, or at least i presume she did. at the beginning looking into the house, could see like 2 separate factions hahaha everyone in the dining room and the piano side was my dad's side, and my mum's side was squeezing into the living room and the stairs landing area hahaha could tell so easily from the front porch where i was standing after directing traffic hahaha it was like the biggest party at my place since i was born =X
oh yes... i finally exercised again!!! hahaha played vball on friday. actually was supposed to help referee 20 matches lah. in the end only referee for 2... so many J1s didn't turn up for the competition. anyway i'm not complaining, coz at least i got to play vball! hahaha digging still ok, setting kinda shitty, but spiking surprisingly not bad! hahaha not much sun though, except at the beginning. eventually clouds started to rollby and it got windier, so didn't get as black as i thought i would :p
oh well... don't think i'll be blogging till next weekend again. and thus my life for the next 4 months has been determined.

studying is bad for the health...
at 1st sight, everything seems fine and dandy when we just start studying...
then after a while, you might get breathing problems and end up sounding like darth vader...
or you just get really really bored and start drawing chickens on people's notes...
just the problems of studying...

shortest lived sense of relief...
after the FINAL paper today, i felt relieved. BUT!!! mother said to me "next week you must start revising and doing your TYS already!" oh joy of all joys. i'll be mugging next week already! despite my plan to take a one week break and start mugging from the 3rd week onwards. feels damn awkward to see all your classmates after one month, only in the exam hall. damn sad lah. shaun and i sat at the last seat for the last 2 papers, just in case we needed to go toilet, so we wouldn't have to waste so much time walking down the whole isle hahaha but in the end we both didn't go toilet =p then when i sat at the back, quite a few ppl said hi to me while walking past, and good luck and stuff. by the time i could respond they were 2 tables away. quite sad man... at least lessons and class time starts in a few days. have to say my JC class is overall more fun than my sji class, feel more attached to the class as well, but i made better friends in my sji class lah. that's the difference i guess.
after maths today, was kinda funny. we can never decide where to eat when we wanna go out together. so we just hopped onto the 2nd bus that came long at the PA side busstop, regardless of wat bus it was. actually we purposely missed the 1st 985, coz we'd end up at eunos :p so we got on to 132... intended to go ang mo kio. just before we reached thompson i suggested prata, and everyone went to prata!!! YEAH!!! hahaha clarrisa was kinda dictatorial, overruled me for a while, but i won in the end WAHAHAHA ok sorry cheap thrill. i'm trying to enjoy all sense of relief while i still can.
after prata they went to josh's house, probably recked it, and i went to church. tried out the piano thingy. quite fun leh... get to be absolutely random hahaha doesn't sound completely nice though, but i think i've gotten the hang of wat i'm supposed to do. saturday gotta go again. should be quite fun. just that i can't really do the banging part yet hahaha bu xi guan lah :p
after tt intended to go gym, but no time. went to harbourfront to meet raudah, then just walk walk walk, talk a hell lot of rubbish, then eventually went to tampines since i had to go airport to pick up my dad. just sat at mcdonalds and chatted for a while, about how her fingernails really look like baby's ones :p
dad came back today. sis coming back tomorrow. less use of the comp. for my own good i guess. she'll be here for 2 months. really good timing sia hahaha less comp use till prelims are over. should do me good i guess. oh well 4 day weekend coming up... better enjoy it man. ok time to eat fruits.

back to where it began...
for the whole of last week, been to pine grove to study, and it still works!!! hahaha went there everyday immediately before Os (except sat and sun) to study. but now must up tempo lah. even go there on saturdays and sundays hahaha mid years starting on tuesday, ending on thursday. am i ready for it? maybe 50%? 60%? i dunno sia. i think if i can pass everything i'd be happy already. coz last year i failed everything during mid years hahaha big enough difference? for me i guess so, for my parents, i highly doubt it.
after mid years got a 4 day week end, and it'll be the 2nd week of july. rest one week. 3rd week of july engine chiong liao man. i'll be at pine grove every night till about 11. weekends included. must whack liao ah... if i wanna get aero at NTU. anything less than AAA will have problems lah i think. must mug hard tai... it's for your own good. yes it's for my own good. amazing how something so boring and harmful to our health can be good for us hahaha

world juggly fest...
just got back from clarke quay a while ago. bang got 2nd for his competition. damn cool man hahaha but the guy who got 1st... really good lah. so bang good, he's really good :p at 1st bang was kinda slipping and sliding coz of the kero on the floor, but after a while it looked like he was on drugs or something lah, like ultra high already can suddenly do everything hahaha crazy idiot. nvm... after As... my turn to play with fire MUAHAHAHAHA cool shit man. can become damn strong also. shoulders all the way down to the wrists, can become damn strong. great training for NS hahaha just the legs left to deal with. nvm... firestave looks fun. always wanted to do things which really involved my arms. writing not included.
tags...
soph: ok lah the only reason why i thought it was arti fire was coz i didn't see any lightning, and i know wat arti fire sounds like, coz my dad was in arti before and he told me hahaha
shawn: ahhh we're all behind. secondary school days rock man hahaha
bang: byob... bring your own BALLS!!! hahaha 2nd man... 2nd... next time 1st! *RAWR*

FIRE!!!
wah... fire stave is fun man. ok fine... minus the fire... stave is fun man hahaha play tt thing wrist sure very strong one. but looks damn cool! hahaha might just be bang's next partner. but really quite cool lah. wrists and shoulders will get damn bloody strong after playing with staves. if don't use both hands... sure end up like me now (right side more developed than left side) hahaha even now my right arm seems so much lighter than my left arm :p jialat... i need a stick... broomstick also can... but kinda light hahaha oh well, can adjust. but now no time to play sia... sian diao. nice routine bang... just stop dropping ur stave lah, then will be damn cool liao ;) i try to go again tmr yah? must use left arm to even it out hahaha
tt was tonight. this morning till late afternoon was at holland v bk mugging. did about 5 hours of study, and 1 hour of eat and tock cock and sleep hahaha not bad man. most productive day since... last year!!! hahaha tmr afternoon going again. still never do my econs tuition hw though. damn it. either i sleep late tonight, or wake up early to do it. both don't seem like a very nice option hahaha i wonder why...
mugging season has begun, and i'm lagging behind. soon it will be chionging season, or is it already that season and i'm still stuck behind at the beginning of mugging season? hmmm...

humpty dumpty sat on the wall...
and u know how it goes. except he didn't fall off the wall, i did. in fact i think alot of us did. and we've fallen into a big hole called slack. and we can't get out of it. we're all swimming in it, and we all dream of getting out, but it's like quicksand, and just sucks us back in. where's the motivation that can get us out of this slackhole?!!? dunno sia... blown away like the dead leaves in my garden (ok bad comparison)
been coughing with phlagm stuck in my throat for the past few days, and i can't seem to get all of it out. stupid yellow shit. haiz... at least i'm starting to exercise again. played badminton for 2 hours yesterday. my whole shirt was wet from sweat... excellent! hahaha went to school for vball today, teach some vball to some kids with criminal records. they're not that bad lah, they are still young teens after all. can be changed i guess. wrong, they can be influenced. inside they will never be changed, for everyone is who they are, but you can influence them so that they have the ability to choose whether to follow who they really are on the inside, or be the best that they can be. all a matter of choice.
feel like learning canon in D now. played it a few times lah, but wanna go try to play it smoothly hahaha so many things i wanna do lah, but CAN'T! haiz... sad sad life. thank goodness i live near holland village hahaha

I'VE BEGUN!!! i think...
i finally started studying today. better late than never i guess. tried getting some physics into my head. taking some time to get the engine started i guess. what really got me started was after i saw the stack of notes inside the files. i got a shock lah. separated all my notes into subjects, then into levels. so got 6 files now, and they're scary. gotta cover all that within the next 4 months? omg... better start mugging. hope u'll have started mugging too, if you haven't, i pray that you do. for the guys... think of it as, the last push before 2 years of study break hahaha girls... i dunno lah... the last push before you get to meet more older guys? hmmm...

how times have changed...
thinking back to my atc and weekly trainings when i was still a cadet, we got drilled under the hot sun, we got pumped on the burning hot parade square, and sometimes we just got knocked down for fun. being pumped under the sun was a way of life lah!!! at atc... get knocked down for an hour, on uneven ground with rocks sticking out everywhere, and we didn't grumble and bitch to our parents. we joined a uniform group and expected a hard time, and we just shut up and endured it
compared it to now. MOE regulations says no more than 20 pushups per hour. i say screw you. u get parents complaints almost weekly. end a bit late, and parents complain. get punished, and parents complain. do drills in the sun, complain too hot. do PT, complain tired. do campcraft, complain get blisters. just a step too far and parents complain. some of the cadets even say that they were conned into joining a uniform group. but hey, THEY JOINED IT! i mean they put it as their 1st choice on the cca list, and they complain they were conned? i think they just need to blame their immaturity on something else.
kids today are just pampered. they don't know what suffering means. and it's not even suffering in all it's entirety lah! hmmm tt word sounds wrong... ahhh whatever. parents please stop pampering your kids. if they complain, just tell them to endure it. it's not as if they're going to break their arms or legs right? and if they were to get injured, say a tiny little blister on their palm or something, for goodness sake it's training! u expect them to come back from training unscathed every week is it? snap back to reality lah. teenagers liao leh!!! not BABIES! haiz... even if u don't beat ur kids... let us beat them for u lah. they need discipline man.
at this rate... sji ugos will never retain it's former glory.

the feeling of emptiness...
atc concluded yesterday, but was too tired to blog about it. wasn't the best atc we had, but it sure came with it's challenges and adventures. i mean, imagine running a camp of 110+ cadets with only 9 instructors. sec 2s even better, 100+ cadets with 5 instructors. of course we did do some mixing around, and got a few external CIs to help out, but most of the time it was run by us. to be honest, this batch of cadets at atc were no easy bunch. many of them gave us problems, but of course as usual the ny girls are like... creme de la creme. ac boys did well too. but the others... can be seen to be quite a tough bunch lah. but of course there were good cadets from the other units.
for most of the people the most memorable was the 1st night, during debrief. coz 1st day they weren't very well behaved lah, so we had a little instructors debriefing while they planned their campfire item, and somehow came up with a list of 14 points that i had to talk to them about. didn't think about it much after that. then somehow when briefing started, i forgot abt the 14 points, and just did the stare down with all 114 (or was it 104...) of them. somehow i found myself standing there in front of them, not moving, and they not moving. up till now... i don't know why i did it. altogether we stood there for 20 minutes. of course i did speak now and then, to help keep them awake, and of course i had to replace the 14 points with something. but the thing is there were so many other ways which i could have done it, but why i did it the way i did... i really have no idea. but i guessed it worked. of course i wouldn't advocate the use of this method, as it can be risky.
ahhh the whole thing was just so full of incidents. don't think i'm going to record all of them down, leave it to the rest to remind me of them. but that musadiq is mad lah. said lots of funny things on his side apparently. such as "you are eating into your own eating time" and "are you ready to be ready" hahaha the last one is really a killer sia. laugh like mad when i heard it.
after camp went to tampines mall (almost typed tanglin mall) and had seoul garden. ate quite alot of meat. but then again u don't usually eat much else at seoul garden. then dragged my ass home.
a while ago was watching a bit of "eternal sunshine of a spotless mind" or something like that. then suddenly i felt so empty all over again. the feeling sucks. now np is over, volleyball is over. all i have left is books. i feel damn damn damn sian now. i mean sji lasted for 4 years, and i felt so damn sad that i had to leave then. np has lasted 5.5 years, so u can guess how i feel right now. 5.5 years, that's more than 1/4 of my life spent in this organisation. sure it kinda pisses me off now, but i mean... don't know what i would've become if i didn't join them in the year 2000. i've met some really influential people along the way. of course they were mainly my officers, and later on, my peers. got to work with most of them, all but one. and that one was the 1st one to actually have an impact on my np life. to my ex-HO eric, thanks for inviting me into the campcraft comp team of 2002, and teaching me the 1st few vital lessons in my npcc career. from that point... i just starting learning things from everyone around me. probably because by that time i was in sec 3. whatever it is... i'm going to miss it. all the planning, and the headaches that come along with it. the friendships, the camps, the jokes and laughters, the adventures, the mishaps, and of course the lessons.
the only chance i have of doing something np related now is at SJI AP. but don't know whether should be pc or not, because if i do... somehow i have a feeling my parents won't be too happy, but i want to do it. but it might not be the smartest thing to do, coz don't know how i'm going to manage studies with all the extra meetings and things i'd probably have to do as pc. hmmm... i guess i'll have to make that decision soon, coz AP trainings start in july. that's my absolute last chance to do something big for sji npcc. we shall see...

wtf sia...
this isn't exactly easy, but i guess i have slacked in some departments, and as a result have ended up in this situation. probably written this here a thousand times before, but i can't help but reiterate the fact that i'm not as efficient and "powerful" as i used to be. my own standards have dropped, so have my expectations of myself.
but then again, your officer telling you things that are necessary 2 days before the camp, when he could have done it 2 weeks ago, isn't very helpful either.
this can be pulled through. by the end of the week it will all be over. chiong sua!!!

feel so stone. 2 meetings in 2 days. camp in 3 days. end of 5.5 years in npcc in 6 days. feel so stoned. i need to mug. but can't seem to start. since beginning of the year haven't been able to mug. actually since promos ended. damn sad lah. hopefully i can finally get my head down when all my worries are out. no more npcc, no more volleyball. just... studies. and of course must maintain friendships. but tt's like 2 less big things to worry about. arh mug tai mug mug MUG!!!

that was a waste...
3 days away from school, and what have i accomplished? well besides the extra sleep and npcc stuff and vball training... zero school work. only now i'm doing some maths. tmr, wednesday and friday all got np stuff to do after school. next week got 3 days of camp at ubin, and it'll all be over. until AP comes of course. shall see what happens for that one. maybe i'll get it, maybe i won't, but now i'm hoping i do. we shall see... that should be an interesting one =D at least all the action should start after midyears, so not that bad.
feel so sian at home nowadays. much rather go out. last time... it was the other way round. just wanted to come home and slack in front of the tv or computer. but now i just wanna go out and play pool... watch a movie... sit arnd and stone with friends... and just not think. maybe nowadays got too many things on my mind... or maybe there's not enough things on my mind. hmmm... ok my brain feels clogged. happy vesak day.

start of the weekend...
had sports carnival ytd at ccab. going back to the sports hall was... well sad in a way. all i could do was imagine what could have been. oh well... i think i saw pauline there, with her hockey team, but doubt she saw me, even though i had my surname printed in ultra big letters on the back of my shirt hahaha
anywayz we did really well for sports day. 1st for 2.4 challenge and eco challenge. 2nd for 400 girls and 800 guys, and 3rd for 4x400 guys. manyun ran REAAAAALLY well for 4x400 girls. they were last after just the 1st round, and manyun overtook all of them till we were in 2nd!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! but in the end we only came in 4th. netball... 1st match 15-0. that joshua scored like 10 pts? too much bball hahaha 2nd match lost 5-2. so that one out. floorball... sad lah. only played 1 half, but wanted to play more. it's a tiring game, but it's fun lah. great way to improve your stamina hahaha. anywayz we were out of that one in the end, so we only came in 2nd overall for sports carnival this year. same as last year :p after the whole thing stayed back in the sports hall and took a hell lot of photos. really really ALOT of photos hahaha we all had our class jersey on, so it was really damn cool. red and gold, and if i had my sji shorts on, i'd be a christmas tree! ok out of point...
after tt went to holland v. ate at thai express. mr kwee treated us, again. end of year we really gotta treat him to something man. treat us to so many meals already, cost a hell lot lah. oh well we did have alot of fun in the restaurant. continuing to take a hell lot of photos and make a hell lot of noise. koon kinda broke the bench, but he put it back again hahaha just as well our shirts didn't have the letters CJC anywhere on it :p just all our nicknames, and in my case our surnames. but hey, they made money from us, so no way they could've chased us out hahaha
after tt they'll came my house. play bball cum netball, get high on slam dunking on with ultra short net :p bully derek (nothing new) played badminton. played piano. play this play tt... play play play hahaha maybe now u'll know why i can't study very well at home hahaha
this morning went to school for volley trg. wah it was hot hot hot. my face is all black again =X somehow nowadays i feel kinda extra at trg, mainly coz i'm not taking part in competition, but still squeeze into trainings anyway. oh well, only 2 more trainings to go. can't go for the wednesday one, so that makes it... one? yeah one. one more official training as a cj vball team member. the fewer things i'm part of, the nearer i am to the As. after june the 3rd i'll be out of npcc, after 5.5 years of it. tt'd be a good time to reflect, on 5.5 years of my life gone by. 5.5 years that most probably shaped the person i am now, and the person i will be. another chapter is closing.

random thoughts...
one day, let's just say, if WWIII were to really come, would you want to take part in it? let's say that singapore is somehow directly involved in WWIII, would you actually take up arms and fight for your livlihood and homeland? for me, i would say yes. unless of course if the war were to come when i'm above 50 or something lah hahaha i mean the only reason why WWIII hasn't really started is probably because of memories of the past 2 world wars that have deep impressions on many peoples minds. i guess in a way that's good, coz this way the 3rd one will never come! ;) unless of course you reach a stage where like in the movie the matrix or terminator, robots attempt to take over the earth lah, then tt's be just... total madness. ah well... just hope whatever i say doesn't come true. i'm feeling hungry... where's my ruffles???

GYMMMMMMMMMMM!!!

that wasn't so bad...
recce today was... good! hahaha felt quite good at the end of it. at least i felt better lah. even though some problems still loom, but i think it should be ok lah. i think... but at least i'm more confident about the camp now :) oh yeah and there's something about the mosquitoes on ubin... really. at bermuda triangle we were swarmed by them lah! and i mean... swarmed! hahaha i could kill like 2 at a time. and not just once... 3 times!!! we were like the terminators or something. and lucky i wore track pants, otherwise my legs sure kenna also. poor yanru's legs really kenna "invasion" liaoz. spots all over. she wear skirt to school tmr quite jialat sia :p
right at the end of recce... got a msg from my OC saying that he changed his name. HE CHANGED HIS NAME!!! and how old is he now? late 30s?!?!? so odd man. at 1st i thought it was some joke, then i replied him, and he said he informed HQ already. so i was like... wtf!?!?!?!?! HE CHANGED HIS NAME?!?!!??! =X to the power of infinity! HE CHANGED HIS FRIGGIN' NAME!!! ok lah i've heard of people changing their name before. but he's in late 30s already lah, must be something quite serious that made him change it. i doubt it's coz he's completely out of his mind, or he was utterly bored. although he does seem like the kind of person who can have weird ideas at times, so oh well hahaha damn it arms are starting to itch again. need to shower AGAIN! sianzzz...
so many tests this week, never study yet. fail already lah. forgot everything. die already lah.
