11 weeks to go...

3 weeks in stagmont camp have passed by. or as some people call it... slackmont camp hahaha all i can say is that it's a completely different experience from sispec. for starters... we spend as much time in an aircon room now as we did outfield back then. secondly... we hardly sweat!!! thirdly... last time our legs were sore from running... but now my ass is sore from sitting down and sleeping for too long. for many, it's like a dream come true to be able to slack so much for 14 weeks in ns, but for me, it doesn't feel right lah. i think i'm just getting fat here hahaha the only runs we have is during ippt trg. oh yeah and the toughest part about my course is the stand by bed, coz i have an extremely on the ball course commander who used to be an rsm, so he has super ultra high standards. last week he even threatened our bookout!!! that's like a major no no hahaha in sispec when they said bookout at 8, we know we'd bookout latest 8.30. but here they don't tell u a time, and it all depends on how clean our bunks and area is. oh yeah and there's no stand by area, always stand by bed hahaha so must keep cupboard clean too, which isn't very difficult honestly hahaha coz not much personal stores anymore. so this week we really cleaned our asses off, and he came into the bunk, rubbed a few corners looking for dust, and said "well done... good show!" and walked out. ULTIMATE HAPPINESS MAN!!! hahaha we never thought we'd get it. either that or he was in a good mood today. oh well we shall see next week.

tomorrow derek and joshua are flying off to brunei for 3 weeks of hellacious trg before they can get their red beret. i really hope they can survive man. passed 9 months already, would be a real shame if they couldn't get their red beret for whatever reason. may god go with you guys, and take care of yourself in the merciless brunei-ian jungle. hey maybe i'll be able to communicate with them during my AHF exercise hahaha who knows... the wonder of radios =)
