happy happy happy.............thought would get like 25!! looks like CJC for me.....not bad lah, just glad that i managed to qualify for JC! surprisingly my SS did better than my history!! and john con said tt our SS was horrendous........gave me a heart attack. 1st in class for english, 75 exactly. venod and haresh got 74....hehehe!!! but venod's oral beat mine by 2 marks, but my compo thrash his.........WAHAHAHAHAHA!!! only my A Maths deproved by quite alot, bloody paper 2 damn killer!! haha just feeling damn light and happy now, only gotta work on my A Maths, somehow. damn ian yappy said everything also "fail already lah", and in the end he got 7 pts, and his A2 was 74 marks loh!!!!! not so lah, only 1 more mark to get 6 pts, and he wants to go to CJC.....dunno wat's in his head also lah. CJC ain't so bad now, got the all mighty BRO. PAUL!! helped yank SJI up the rankings a few years ago, must help him make his magic again at CJC. Since so many ppl say that he's such a great principal, must go to the school where he's at and experience 1st hand what it feels like to be studying under him. the funny thing was they gave out my best 3 papers 1st, namely english, history/ss and e maths. after tt the results got worse and worse :p ...somehow the order was like tt. looks like one-third of SJI will be at CJC AGAIN!! not bad lah, at least there will be alot of familar faces. this morning was quite nerve wrecking, before the classrooms were opened, i spent my time looking out onto the field from the 2nd level foyer, enjoying a cool breeze, as i contemplated my fate :p.....oh yes....SHEM ANG!!!! dark horse man, suddenly history/ss became 1st in class A1...damn pro man shem, dunno how he managed to do tt also. during class tests always very mediocre or quite bad, but according to him for history he spotted question, but for SS he pia like shit. doubt it will work for me lah. can't take any risks for O levels. just hope i can do as well for english in the Os, english was my life saver man!!! oh well tomorrow back to school again, and the going through of all the papers...haiz..........number of days as a Josephian are slowly creeping away, must make the most of what's remaining, most probably bring camera during the week, finish up the film, and maybe finish a new one as well :p Cheers.

Thank you SJI...
Thanks for accepting me into the school
Thanks for putting up with all my crap
Thanks for teaching me how to live
Thanks for giving me four wonderful years
Thanks for allowing me to be one of many Josephians
Thanks for being SJI!!!
Grad ceremony was really really wonderful!! Although i was fighting a slight cold and sore throat, i still enjoyed myself. Sang really really loud!!! :D When the bagpipers marched in, i remembered how it was when i was there before, getting my ears blasted off, and trying to keep in timing. Throughout the whole ceremony, there was constant reminder of the "joyful" occasion on Monday. damn it!! grrrrrrr............ anywayz i enjoyed the end the most, when we sang the national anthem, did HAIL HAIL and our school cheer. Might not be the last time, coz still got paraliturgy, but it was one to be savoured indeed. And even though nyw told me that his speech was going to be one that was serious, i couldn't pick out any part of the speech where he was being serious :p. and i doubt the adding of "CF" helped to make it anymore serious. I bet CF has never ever been so happy, or at least embarrassed. All the scolding and his mighty finger pointing........was all turned into laughter and applause.........the look on his face was candid man!! Well at least he knows that even though he's the "Dark Lord", we still appreciate what he has done.
Oh yes, supposed to tell you'll about my sec 2 english and lit teacher. Mr. Kevin Cheng. young guy, about mid-twenties. dyed his hair, walks like a sissy, talks like a sissy, with all the hand waving. but scolds like a man!! i remember the time when he threw xue liang's table out the of the class. and i mean THROW!!! super duper pissed. and he's one of the few teachers in Singapore that use words like "you bitch!!" and "you bloody piece of shit!!" in class. the way he says it is damn funny, and when he says it he always points his finger at you in a sissy kinda way. one might call his method of teaching not as effective as other teachers, but he does his job well, takes pride in what he does (i think...), and nows how to relate to the students. He will sometimes join us at recess and tok cock with us. In fact he's the only teacher i know who does that!! i respect this guy not becoz of how he taught, but because of how he could so easily connect with students. but the best is still TWK, he's unbeatable man!! haha....come to think of it, most of my lower sec male teachers were all full of shit, but in a good way of course. :p just realised that i forgot my sec 1 science teacher's name. OH NO!!! die, my memory is already failing me!!! dang it! nvm, tok abt my sec 2 science teachers next time i blog.......Cheers!

Today was officially my last day as a Josephian, even though we still have 2 weeks of school. This is because is the 151st Anniversary Speech & Graduation Day is tomorrow!!!. 1st time it’s being held in the hall for a very long time. Really grand too, got wedding type chairs, and an improved sound system. It was moved to the hall to accomadate the 1000+ people that will be attending the function. I look forward to tomorrow, however.......... DAN DAN DAN DAAAAAAAA .....................D-Day is on Monday, when the earth’s anger will be felt from above, where its shattering strength will strike all right where it hurts. Haiz………..don’t look so far ahead 1st lah hoh? must reflect back on my past 4 wonderful and exciting years in SJI. lets see............ah yes!!!
Sec 1 & 2 form tutor: Mr Tang Wing Kee!!!! The "best" teacher i've ever had man. the one thing that i will remember the most about him is his ability to give pushups like nobody's business, but the inability to even do them. Also my maths teacher, his favourite time of the day was mental sums, with his little blue book and his metal ruler. but the best part came when he asked us for our marks. 5 marks: very good, full marks!!! 4 marks: good, next time try for full marks!! 3 marks: bad, nearly fail!! 10 pushups!!! 2 marks: bad, FAIL!!! 20 pushups!! 1 marks: horrible: 30 pushups!! 0 marks: YOU STUPID COW!!! besides his fetish for cows, he also had fetishes for his jackknife, his airborne badge, his ability to go diving and rollerblade. one could never forget his 3 favourite phrases........" Rain or shine, be on time", "don't be on time, be early" and the all time favourite........"NO BRAINS MUST HAVE MUSCLES!!!!" thus his love for giving us pushups if we do badly, as he believes that you do not need a very high level of education to become a bouncer!! :p Every now and then either norman or mark or qi hao will be sentenced to sit under his table and act as a foot rest for his ever tired foot. that is the sad cases lah, but non the less funny. But don't get me wrong, this guy gets a lot of respect from me. he's been teaching in SJI for 40++ years. he taught teo chee hean, my 2 uncles, one of which was teo chee hean's classmate, and even some teachers in SJI now!!! even though he claims that he vomits 3 buckets of blood at home everyday because of us, what the heck lah, cannot be real!!! he retired last year at the age of 64 to a very grand ceremony indeed! i really look forward to seeing him in 10 years time during reunion dinner, tt's if i'm not dead yet or in jail! heck even if i'm dead i'll rise up from the grave to see him!! i saw him this year though, at our 151st Anniversary Annual Parade. He was amongst the guests seated on the comfy green chairs all decked out in his NCC uniform, with which he wears his airborne badge with a hell lot of pride! now what else is there abt TWK??? oh yes, his beer belly and his black moustache!! now one would be surprised that his hair is still black even though he is 64 years old this year, and one would normally think that he dyed his hair. however........for the 2 years that he's taught me, i never even saw a single strand of white hair on his head!!! all i can say to this guy is THANK YOU!!!!
next post i shall talk about our faggarty sec 2 english and literature teacher Mr. Kevin Cheng!!!! don't miss out.........

quizzes..................sian lah what to do???

Protector
The ULTIMATE personality test
brought to you by Quizilla
not bad... :D

You're Most Like The Season Spring ...
Fresh faced, with a young outlook on life - you
smile at the world and expect it to smile back
at you. You're mostly a bubbly, fun - innocent
person. Described as cute possibly. However,
you're a little naive about things and tend to
be a little too trustworthy.
As the first season, It Makes you the youngest -
and so most immature - but people are inclined
to look out for and protect you.
Well done... You're the most fun of the seasons :)

even more preliminary prelim results...
newest news: history elective one boy in my class got 23/25 for SEQ, have no idea who it is, could be yue chuan, shaun wong, sean tan, karthig, and the list goes on and on. i doubt it can be me, becoz like i said i've been on a downhill slide!! feel alot better than yesterday though, somehow. even though the feeling of gloom and death hangs in the air (so passe!!!) for monday. official last day as a Josephian is 17 October. 4 whole years of fun, training, studying, slacking as a josephian all coming to an end. end of my "legacy" :p
after school played badminton for a while at Tanglin. had games with ian, Fuzz and ET. zi xin and shaun came along like some really irritating "cheerleaders". sorry ian that i ended up playing with my friends and not you as intended, and you ended up eating chips with franklin. sorry sorry!! after that went to clementi to top up EZ link card..........saw quite a lot of hot chicks on the way :D talking about hot, last few days damn hot. last week rain rain rain, this week sun sun sun. haiz, should be used to it by now lah, since living in Singapore for 16 years already.
oh yes, Happy Children's Day, to all the kids at heart out there. was thinking about my primary school days on the bus. i doubt there is a single person in secondary school or above who doesn't miss primary school life. the "innocence", the fun-filled times, running around in the field and basketball before and after school with absolutely no care in the world. but seeing the kids nowadays, i really pity them. their bags are as big as their bodies, backs all hunched already, all wearing specs dunno whether from studying or from too much computer. But young kids nowadays rarely play outdoors anymore, because there is such a wide range of games to play on playstation, x box, nintendo, gameboy, PC, dreamcast and blah blah blah. i think the standard of living in singapore might have gone up, but the standard of its citizens are on the decline.
i'm generalising here, hopefully it doesn't come true in the near future. but as history shows, all great kings fall, no matter how great they are. however powerful someone may be there is always someone stronger to overthrow him. if you put this in the context of singapore, i really wonder how much longer this peace and security we feel in singapore will remain. sure we have a competant police force and a strong armed forces, but one would have noticed the increase in number of thefts and petty crimes recently. even though some would say that it's due to the economic downturn, once someone picks up the habit of theft to get easy cash, it's not easy to change it, because once someone has found an easy way out, he'll usually take it. it's just like electricity, it always takes the easier way, even though it might be longer :p Cheers.....
