in case you're wondering what on earth those flags on top are... well they're mainly our school colours.
(from L-R): NCC (Land), Pelandok Scouts, NCC (Air), Singapore Flag, Founder's Banner, SJI School Flag, NPCC, SJI Military Band, SJAB.
basically each uniform group in sji has our own colours that are blessed once a year. so they're quite "sacred" in a way lah... they're only used for display and for SJI Annual Parade for colours contingent, otherwise they're kept safely in a store somewhere... i believe it's Bro. Mic's office, not too sure. cheers!

my (unprofessional) guide to pushups...
bear with me... i'm bored... i'd rather do this than chinese.
in primary school... we struggled to do even standard pushups... our butt was always high up in the air, or u were, as we called it in sji, screwing the floor. so in primary school we were doing sub-standard standard pushups.
then came secondary school... where the pull-up craze began on a very small scale. and also thanks to someone called Mr. Tang Wing Kee who gave us pushups as punishment for mental sums and a whole list of other uhhh... bad habits, we soon could all do standard standard pushups hahaha then eventually came along the things called diamond and spider pushups which were of course of higher difficulty. by end of sec 2... commando pushups were introduced to me. only one of my friends could do it... the rest of us just stood and watched an awe :p (altogether now... aawwwwww)
then eventually came along the commando spiders and commando diamonds, which up till now some people still have difficulty doing. hmmm then came the little "walks" we had with pushups. there was the crocodile walk... and the little bouncy thingy that i've got no idea what it's name is. so it's just the bouncy thingy... basically u just gotta get from point A to point B by doing pushups and moving... yeah. later one came one arm pushups, which would results in one arm being a hell lot bigger than the other hahaha
somewhere along the way came knuckle pushups. and if u can do commando knuckle pushups... i'd say you were nuts, coz i've never seen anyone crazy enough to try it. the of course there's even the more absurd pinky pushup which the late bruce lee showed us how to do. those are generally known as finger pushups i guess
so just a little time-line of how pushups evolved in my life :p
sub-standard standard pushups ==> standard pushups ==> diamond and spider pushups ==> walking thingys ==> commando standard pushups ==> one arm pushups ==> knuckle pushups ==> commando diamond and spider pushups ==> commando knuckles* ==> finger pushups*
*are impossible in my lifetime... unless i've got metal for knuckles... hmmm maybe if i became wolverine... that's an interesting thought. hmmm... actually i've never tried commando diamonds and spiders... and i can't really do proper one arms yet... oh well hahaha i'm still young (kinda...) and my elbows aren't sqeaking yet, neither are my shoulders, so i guess that means i can still try hahaha
that's my unprofessional guide to pushups... if yours differs, well good for you, that's why it's unprofessional hahaha cheers!

it's over!!!
WAHAHAHAHA so happy now... not only because it's over, but because our presentation went on quite smoothly. there was no real problems, it went on real fluently. not bad considering we only practiced twice hahaha but the questions that mr. ho posed to us were tricky i must say. manyun had some problem with hers, could. derek wasn't talking with his usual hand actions, instead his hands were behind his back the whole time fiddling with his shirt. wiz and xr were ok lah... me as usual could've spoken more slowly, with more pauses in between. haiz... nervous-ness does have its effects. damn it i went to the toilet twice before the presentation lah!!! hahaha it would've been alot worst without those oh-so-comforting trips :p
there's training tomorrow, but i can't go coz my mum won't allow me to, saying tt i'll be too tired. but vball trainings are never really that tiring lah, or at least as compared to npcc trainings i've had before where i couldn't even walk to the toilet to change. so miss 2 out of 3 training this week. sucks...
will be ultra-relieved after friday when that damn chinese paper is over. i better pass man, so tt it'll be my last chinese paper in my ENTIRE LIFE!!! anywayz while everyone goes out to party after that, me bren and ben will be in sji, wearing a different type of all blue. oh well common affair during the holz now. i really hope that vball training doesn't end up on fridays after this week, if it does... shit. then gotta choose between np and vball... honestly i'd rather go for np, but vball is getting more interesting these days. damn it lah!!! ggrrrrr...
i want to sleep... but i also want to play computer... i also feel like exercising... but i don't feel like studying chinese... hmmm... anywayz music is back so i'm happy hahaha cheers!

just... a lil' bit... further...
PW will be all over tomorrow. in approximately 14 hours... 7 months of pw-ing will be all over. whoosh... can't wait man. but looking at the PW folder in my comp... quite alot of work went into it man. of course nothing compared to sec 3/4 and all the npcc docs lah... but it's still quite alot of work hahaha i must say that researching on budget airlines was indeed interesting, as i did manage to learn more about budget airlines, but after this will i continue to read up on it? not intentionally hahaha so it's like everything we've read up for our project ends on the day of the oral presentation, no continuous chain... in other words... a very plain waste of our time hahaha
at another crossroad... here i go again. cheers.

training...
it was quite interesting today. started out formation today... got the centre or spiking position. but couldn't really spike properly today lah... was much better with just receiving the serves. but training in formation is tiring... more so than those usual independant drills... but it's a hell lot more fun.
later gotta chiong PW... still gotta work on all my research. i think it should be fine. where has all my music gone?!?!!? cheers!
