rule number 1 is...
rule number 1: the teacher is always right.
well results didn't come out today. and last friday when i went back to school to play vball most of the teachers who knew me said something along the lines of "u're a week early" or "see you next week". well turns out i won't be seeing them 'next week', and i still have jun hong's key hahaha oh well his other half has a key anyway so he's fine.
working night shift later. have a strong feeling we're going to end up doing carpark lights again... hmmm... anyway today marks the end of the 2nd last week of work for me hahaha ending as the month ends, so that i can do more of my own things. maybe i'll go play piano now for a while... but the yellowcard CD is really damn nice man... want to keep listening to it hahaha

i'm getting slow...
i think the lack of studying and thinking has gotten to me, because i'm getting slower hahaha i mean... cheryl has been working at cafe iguana for how long? almost a month? and i only found out last week that she that restaurant/bar is at riverside point, which is like less than 100m away from the hotel i work at? hahaha shufang will be so proud hur hur hur. so i went down after work yesterday to pay her a visit since i end at 11, and she supposedly was ending at 11 too, but it turned out her boss asked her to stay back to 12 to fold napkins... poor girl. so just chatted with her for a while, until this guy (assume it's her boss) asked me to not disturb her until she finished and he offered to buy me a drink at the bar! wah not bad hahaha but i said no since i had to catch the train home. and today she's not working!!! doubt i can see her tmr either, since i start at 11 and she ends at 11 hahaha see how lah... long time never disturb her le :p
watched the new season of CSI last night. man it's looking good hahaha i mean i even managed to stay awake lah, and watching ocean's twelve after that put me to sleep, which shows how good the new CSI is. and that tape is still kinda freaky man... the way he talks... just gives u an impending feeling of doom. luckily i got 1.5 months left to enjoy it. which means about 6 more episodes. cannot afford to miss a single one man! hahaha good stuff
talking about good stuff, i bought the new yellowcard album recently, titled lights and sounds, sounds good too! the 1st track is an instrumental man, and if u remember how good the instrumentals were in gifts and curses and only one, u'd just want to hear more hahaha the lyrics are really meaningful too. BUT!!! the album can't open on windows media player, so therefore i can't rip them and put them in my mp3 player!!! instead some weird media player that seemed to come with the CD opens and it doesn't allow u to do anything! not even change the titles as they appear on the screen!!! weird stuff man. really wanna put this album in my zen, so anyone got any ideas?
valentine's day... last year was the 1st time it had some sort of significance for me, because u know with girls around, every occasion is worth celebrating, with little notes and chocolates being passed around class. last year it was about friends. this year spent it with MOOMOO! hahaha since i ended work at 9, we didn't have much time to spend together. just sat at farrer park field and talked, laughed, and took funny pictures and videos :p i'm sure she still wants to delete some from my phone :p oh well we know we've got alot to go through, but we're going to try our best to go through them together :)
life's always throwing things at us, and they're only meant for you to do one thing, ovecome them.

of volleyball and screwed up weather...
this morning went for my 3rd driving lesson. moved up to lesson 9 already. and apparently stage 1 ends at lesson 11 hahaha so not bad lah. average of 3 lessons per session. dunno how fast that is... but it's ok i guess. car stalled a couple of times on the road today. still not very used to coordinating my eyes and my feet. really alot of things to check lah. check for oncoming traffic, check left wing mirror, check left blind spot, accelerator down, clutch half up, clutch down, accelerator up, change to gear 2, clutch up accelerator down... blah blah blah hahaha have to admit it's kinda of fun to drive though, except my left leg gets a bit stiff after a while, coz of the constant motion of it to work the clutch hahaha
THEN! after that went to cj, for the 1st time since 16 december hahaha almost 3 months already. weather looked fine at first, nice and sunny, so i was damn happy, coz i was finally going to play vball and get some sun again!!! almost everyone i saw said i'm alot fairer now. even smith is darker than me lah! 1st thing mr ho said when we saw me was "you're alot fairer now eh?" all i could do was laugh, coz it was so damn true.
yah anyway... it started to rain soon after. then after a while it stopped and the sun came out. then after a while, it got cloudy and darker. then IT STARTED TO FRIGGIN' RAIN AGAIN!!! bloody hell... waited more than a month for this day lah! to actually get some damn sun into my skin!!! then it just started to rain!!! and rain = NO MORE SUN!!! ok loh... so we played in the rain in the hopes that the rain would stop and the sun would come out, but from the beginning of the 2nd round of rain i had a feeling it wouldn't really stop that soon, because it was a shower and still relatively bright, and those aren't passing showers. so yeah... the rain never stopped, and the people playing just got sianer and sianer, then came a point where no one felt like playing anymore, and that was when the sky opened up again and the rain got a hell lot heavier and the wind picked up, so being all wet, it started to get cold. and damn it u can't play vball when u're cold. so sat at the grandstand, and the rain never stopped after that until nightfall. by nightfall i was already home, playing god of war on ps2.
so the weather ruined my entire plan for like over a month. i expected to get a nice tan today, and sweat it all out. badminton makes me sweat too yes, but it's indoor. i'm an outdoor person, in case you haven't noticed. i need SUN! at the jelita busstop when just one bus out of 5 possibilities took so long to come, i found myself cursing and swearing. really damn fed up already lah. then something i've never thought about came to my mind instantly.
why on earth do i have not enough time to do all the things i've wanted to do since As ended? that's because i have a damn job! hahaha i've never been the kind of person who wants to do alot, or at least that's what i think, and i know i've never had the opportunity to do alot of things i've wanted to do, partly because i never had the creativity to do it, and secondly because i was sticking the the system, and doing what i had to do in order to survive in it. i'm sure you all know the system i'm talking about. it sucks up your energy, and ALL your time. i actually advised my juniors i met in school today to go to poly lah! wtf... nothing really wrong with poly anyway if u ask me, as long as you know what you are really interested in and want to do in the future, poly is the way you should go.
anyway, about the time and energy sapping job, yes i gain experience, which i agree is really useful for my future use, but then again i find myself working 7 days a week, and having to deal with irregular sleeping patterns, no energy left to do the things i want, and getting SHIT for pay. so... why am i putting up with this again? suddenly the appeal of this job is quickly losing steam, and i'm beginning to dread it. maybe i miss school, i know i miss my classmates, but i miss the feeling of doing the things that i've intended to do for SO DAMN LONG! it's not that i don't necessarily don't have the time, it's the energy you need to. i know what someone would say in circumstances like this, but sometimes it's plain bullshit.
