that's all folks...
excuse me if i'm not making much sense, coz i just woke up, and since i feel like blogging i thought i better :p finally completed 12 years of stringent MOE madhouse style of education. at psle i was sad, at o levels i was overjoyed, and now at a levels, i'm satisfied. quite averaged out don't u think? but still... the one sad thing is that, we worked so hard for 12 years, which is 2 out of 3 parts of our lives thus far, and all we got is 3 slips of paper, each determining where we can go and what we can do for the next part of our lives. and unfortunately, this latest slip of paper will determine what we can and cannot do for the REST of our lives, however long, or short, it may be.
so like i was saying, i am satisfied with the results i got, considering i got FOE for prelims, and now jumped to ABC. it's like right at the other end of the scale hahaha but things kind of got switched around a little but. at prelims, maths F, econs O, physics E. now... maths B, econs A, physics C. none of them stayed in the same place lah hahaha and our class got 5 As for econs!!! mr kwee couldn't believe it, and so couldn't i :p but poor mr tay didn't get any As. mr ho got a couple i guess. ms fernandez got none too, but apparently we did the best of her 3 gp classes, so that's good enough i guess.
alot of people didn't do as well as expected, and it's at times like this that i feel quite helpless. not for myself, but for them, especially bang. he worked hard man... he did study. but then he just had too many distraction around him. that's one of the reasons why i stopped going to pine grove to study. i tried to warn him about being distracted by the other people who had less important exams in the study lounge, but he still went there, and at that stage i didn't know what to do. maybe i should've tried harder to warn him and encourage him to study somewhere else, away from all these distractions. maybe this is one of the times when i wasn't there for my buddy. maybe i should've have sacrificed a bit to help him realise how important this was, and maybe it would've helped me too. but such things... we'll never know. but bang, don't give up yeah? i never knew you to be one who gave up, so keep on fighting and believe in yourself, like you always have, and you'll be fine. don't think u'll be reading this anytime soon but... jiayou man. i'm always still a few busstop away :)

cranks and S's...
got the very 1st car i drove today for driving lesson, number 33. nice number right hahaha and i think somehow i'm more nervous around this certain instructor Lee, whereas i don't make as much stupid errors when i've got Wee hahaha even their surnames rhyme :p anyway today Lee brought me around thhe crank courses and S courses. not bad lah, quite happy. went around the crank about 5-6 times and the S 3 times, and i didn't hit the kerb even once! hahaha maybe every one does it, but i'm quite happy, coz managed to control that damn clutch properly. the older cars are harder to control than the newer ones, probably because the newer cars have power steering and increased lower gear torque, which gives us more control lah. why can't i have that car number 1 again =x anyway seeing hondas on the road now really make me feel like jumping into them and driving hahaha but i don't see myself driving a honda in the future, either a mazda 6 or RX8, coz they look nicer and more sporty heehee and of course they're more powerful lah, needless to say :p
exactly one more week of work left. february 28 i stop work, and i start living MY life. won't be able to do this anymore after uni, so must make the most of it whilst i still can. but for now, gotta type my report hahaha part of the job lah :p

a few reminders...
been forgetting a couple of things recently. don't know why also... maybe not studying slows down the brain hahaha anyway... a few things to do...
1. shave
2. cut nails
3. bring specs hooks for badminton
4. put in more money to bbdc account
ok that's about it :p after 2 weeks of no badminton, played for 3 hours today more or less. ok lah can't be more, just less. but anyway... damn shagged out by the end of the whole thing man. kept hitting the white tape. stupid shit. the number of fingers and toes wouldn't be enough to count the number of times i hit the tape. damn sian. got kinda frustrated at a certain point. quite sure the guys could sense it. but really really damn sian. lost dunno how many points coz i keep hitting the white tape. hit net understandable lah... just too low... but white tape... sian hahaha
anyway, something i've noticed after taking the train everyday for the past 2 months. u know all the advertisements they put up in the stations, about letting others alight first before boarding and keeping left on the escalator to allow those who wanna go faster pass? well there's this trend i've noticed that probably explains the reason why these advertisements are up in the first place. and that reason is... older chinese ladies. by older i mean those in their early to late 60s. and it's quite obvious these ladies have very strong china-ese background. whenever the train arrives, they're always the first to stand in front of the door and squeeze in, as if they're that small, and chiong for the seats. on the escalator, when everyone else is keeping left, the people walking on the right would be blocked by this elderly woman who seems oblivious to the fact that everyone else in front of her is keeping left. and it gets a little worst. when you have a group of these woman on the train, oh my tian (as tini would say), they have these conversations at elevated volumes in hokkien/cantonese/hakka/teochew. u name the dialect they use it. their loud volume is already irritating, but the tone in which they speak in, makes it even worst! it's so obvious they're complaining about something lah! and even if they aren't, they have THAT auntie kinda voice, u know, the kind that would irritate the hell out of you and make your hair stand if u listen to it long enough. so whenever i see a group of them, i quickly turn up the volume on my zen :p and when i'm stuck behind one of them on the escalator, i'd squeeze past if i could, otherwise i'd wait patiently behind, then once she clears the escalator i'd speed past her hahaha really damn irritating lah, and some wonder why we're not a very "civilised" society. oh well... just don't learn from these old-er ladies hahaha

sf: yeah u're faster than me at becoming slow... hmmm... anyway i'll try and find that slip of paper, but i think i have a vague idea of what was on it
bang: go buy lah!!! hahaha must protect them family jewels man. they don't need to be shaved that much :p
tini: FU!!! :) take care in NZ girl! go sheer some sheep and hear them bleat hahaha
