everybody means something to someone...
A well-known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a $20.00 bill.
In the room of 200, he asked,
"Who would like this $20 bill?"
Hands started going up.
He said, "I am going to give this $20 to one of you but first, let me do this."
He proceeded to crumple up the $20 dollar bill.
He then asked, "Who still wants it?"
Still the hands were up in the air.
Well, he replied, "What if I do this?"
And he dropped it and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe.
He picked it up, now crumpled and dirty.
"Now, who still wants it?"
Still the hands went into the air.
My friends, we have all learned a very valuable lesson.
No matter what I did to the money,
you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value.
It was still worth $20.
Many times in our lives,
we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt
by the decisions we make and
the circumstances that come our way.
We feel as though we are worthless.
But no matter what has happened or
what will happen, you will never lose your value.
Dirty or clean, crumpled or finely creased,
you are still priceless to those who DO LOVE you.
The worth of our lives comes not in what we do or who we know,
but by WHO WE ARE.
You are special- Don't EVER forget it."
Cheers! :)

sianzzz...
couldn't go to NY today or to bishan to watch coach play because... i was supposed to stay at home and do my homework. but did i do my homework? i think you can guess lah, don't need me to say...
shoulders are aching from yesterday's gym, right more than left, meaning even though my right shoulder is more developed than my left, the difference is even greater this time!!! damn it! next time i must push my left side more, even if it means looking lobsided!!! stupid weak left side...
went to optician with my dad in the afternoon... short sightedness remains the same, 300 and 350, but estigmatism went up by 50... damn it. but good news, it should go down after next year when i have 2 years of NS, which means no need to study, no need to stare at things close to my face for too long, shiok. but i'm surprised my short sightedness didn't go up, since i've been staring at the comp for wat seems to be longer periods of time nowadays... hmmm...
evening played badminton with the wall for a while, couldn't last very long as my shoulder really started to tense up after a while, so i just stopped earlier than expected. but not bad i can still hit the shuttle quite well hahaha i guess playing with balls and cocks aren't so different after all... (what you thinking?!?!!)
as i predicted got alot of stuff for np in december, and none for vball. but i'm going overseas lah... going to miss out on alot. shiiiiiiiiiiiiittt!!! i guess i can feel a bit better coz my dad is bringing his laptop along, so can still read and reply mails, just the timezone difference lah, alamak i'm talking about stuff that doesn't really link much now. such useless blabber... cheers.

what i know i want...
it's as good as 3 am on a saturday morning, and yet here i am typing. i feel physically tired, but my mind and fingers are quite awake. actually my mind is always like that at this time of the morning. just finished my shower not long ago... and did some self-reflection, and came to the realisation that i don't really entirely know what i want. i also realised that those things i'm quite sure i want, weren't built up overnight, a week, a month, or even a year! it really takes time for things to settle into me, and for me to really truely understand how important they are to me. i can count on one puny little hand the number of things i really absolutely want from my life right now.
i just want my parents to get through life easily and happily. don't have a picture of my sister but i want her to of course be happy with what she's doing in UK now, and come back not regretting a single moment of it.
after close to 5 whole years, i just want that unit shown above, SJI NPCC, to do well in moulding Singaporeans, Josephians, Josephian Police Cadets. it was never easy for the past 5 years, but sometimes looking back and realising what we've accomplished, it was never going to be a walk in the park.
basically just hope that all me friends are just happy lah... tt's all. honestly i don't think i'm a very good friend, coz at times i'm just plain old selfish, and i can also be a dead lazy pig, but then hopefully there are times where i have been there for you, and hopefully made you'll smile. cheers.

gym gym GYM!!!
finally went to the gym today for a proper workout since... sec 3? holy shit tt's a long time hahaha anyway this time went with vball lah. did specific exercises for certain muscles groups. spiking, squats, calf raises, and uhhh dunno wat it's called for biceps and triceps. the part tt's aching the most now is my shoulder and shoulder blade. from supporting the weights on my back lah. but i must say... it felt GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!! hahaha i wanna do it again... gym gym gym hahaha gym craze is coming back to me :p gym gym gym...
anywayz after the trg ate yong tau foo from school. tasted so good after i ate tt horrible tasting one from ghim moh last week hahaha had a nice chat with coach, derek and freddy. coach is quite wise... hahaha but then i guess it's because he's experienced all those things tt he's said lah, so of course he has more to impart to us. he's a good teacher as far as i know lah, trying to teach his students as much as he can.
after tt headed to PA, expecting to see CITs running around frantically changing, or getting equipment, or whatever, just a big mass of people in blue and white running around. but when i got there... it was as if they weren't even having CIBTC today!!! hahaha so i just presumed they were having lessons in a classroom or something, coz they weren't on the parade square either. one thing special about today's visit was that it was very quiet on my part. i only said thank you twice to the guy at the counter, and that's it. walked in, climbed the stairs to the office, put in my cert into her pigeon hole, walked out to the booth, got back my IC and headed straight out. didn't say a single word to anyone else. freaky... hahaha last few times i went there... sure see a few CIs, or an FI around and will just say hi, but this time so empty wor hahaha oh well the good thing is that they painted the damn drill shed. that rusty old thing now has a fresh coat of white paint. looked good from the inside hahaha
shoulders are aching a bit now, could feel it all the way after the gym session. after this gotta head out to sandwin at holland v to change my tennis racket grip, then over to lizz's house for a game. haven't played for ages too... about a year, and with my muscles like tt... wonder how well i'd survive hahaha
i get jealous too easily... i get jealous over things that aren't even mine! i somehow, in my screwed up little brain, believe that it's mine to have, to protect, then it's so easy for a sense of jealousy to creep in. the green-eyed monster. sad...
cheers!
